What is the typical pressure in gas springs?

It depends on the model of the gas spring and extension force, which can be 150 bar or more.

Can the extension speed be adjusted?

Yes, the extension speed of the gas spring can be adjusted.

How can I protect my gas springs from contamination?

You can protect your gas springs from contamination by using protective plastic caps in the crimping area, conduits, and bellows.

What is the weight range of a commercial gas spring?

Depending on its length and diameter, a commercial gas spring can weigh between 100 and 400 grams (0.220 and 0.882 lbs., respectively)

How are Stabilus gas springs identified?

As a rule, Stabilus gas springs are identified with safety instructions, material numbers (Stabilus number or customer number upon request), as well as the manufacturing date.
