Compression Mounts

Compression mounts are typically used for vertically applied loads. The rugged mounts prevent noise transmission and vibration caused by the rotation of unbalanced equipment like centrifuges, blowers, vibrators, pumps, and air handling systems. These mounts effectively isolate frequencies as low as 900 rpm (15 Hz) and provide up to 90% isolation at 1,500 rpm (25 Hz). The compression mounts' elastomer-in-compression design is effective in interrupting noise transmission paths to prevent sound boarding effects.
